Sound

First we have to consider whether we need sound to record sound. 

If we are then we have to check the sound levels with headphones, also need to check for unwanted noise like roads nearby or someone talking while filming.

White Balance

Not all lights have the same colour some have yellow or blue glow which can make some shots look bad or off, the atmosphere of the shot look different to how you wanted it. to fix it, have to subject of the shot hold a piece of pure white paper and change the white balance of the shot until the paper is white on the view finder.

Exposure

How dark or light the shot is, the zebra button helps identify areas that are over exposed. You can change the exposure by adjusting the iris using the eye piece so its like what our eyes would see it.

Focus

This is how sharp and unsharp the subject is n the video which is determined by the distance of the camera from the subject, it can be changed using the first ring on the camera.

Framing

Once all of the above is done and fully checked, can start to film.
